I have PA'd the wrong destination more than once and laughed it off, as have the passengers. To top it all off, have mentioned my gratitude for flying with my former airline
....... And laughed it off.

Stop making mountains out of molehills.
I can't spend my duty time pandering to paranoid delusions of generally ill informed passengers. Telling a passenger to bugger off might not be the wisest response but best not to exaggerate. Let's leave that to the media.
