Good write-up.
A couple of points from my experience.
1. Remember the dimensions of the container, and the dimensions of the container door, are not the same! The container door is slightly smaller than the container. An inch/cm off can ruin your day.
2. If possible, get the container delivered by a side loader truck, so they can drop the container on the ground, and then pick it up to put back on the truck.
3. If no side loader, a tilt tray tow truck can often be used to get the load up to height of container on truck.
4. As you noted, timber used for packing needs to be acceptable for quarantine purposes at delivery end. I think the international standard is called ISPM 15 timber.
5. A "High Cube" Container is 300mm/1 ft taller than a standard container.
