Redundancies, relocation packages, fixed wing procurement, two new bases, penalty payments from terminating contracts.
Hope all this doesn't cost more than the planned 14% saving, because that would be really embarrassing!!!!!!!!
The more I think about this, (the costs of transition to the new operating model), the more it troubles me. NPAS are keen to push out bits of paper to show how much it will save, but has anybody seen anything relating to the cost of set up?
As well as the above, I have been reminded by PM of the potential claims for unfair dismissal, breach of promise arising from the email stating peoples jobs were safe, and, at least one base which under the terms of the lease agreement will have to be demolished if police flying ceases!
Where is the piece of paper that shows how much NPAS has put aside to cover these costs?
