I grew up in San Diego.... my family still lives there but it's been 2 years since my last visit
My "home" airfield over there is Gillespie Field in El Cajon.... it's located just east of San Diego... I chartered there at Golden State Flying... great bunch of people there and a "club" atmosphere... if you visit them, just say hi to Steve or Rich from the crazy hometown girl that lives in Germany...
I think you mentioned in another thread that you'll be flying out of Montgomery Field, right? Very easy to handle things over there....
