EK went around 2/3 times and the 4U DUS has went around as well.
I think the missing words here were "the hold"...no go arounds (well not looking at FR24 anyway). The two aircraft mentioned held whilst the 7700 traffic landed, and made an approach around 10 minutes later which would tally with the emergency vacating and a runway inspection being completed.

here - and it looks like a lack of facts too. The Jet2 flight to Prague was
outbound and looking at FR24 turned around just north of the Norfolk coast with it's own emergency before diverting into Leeds. British sensationalism (journalism) at it's best!
