Constantly monitoring this site I had to bite my tongue with some of the latest derogatory comments, however 2015 brings Luton 10 new routes, increased services on current routes and an increase in EasyJet based aircraft.
In effect Luton should be exceeding 11 million passengers this year.
On my wish list and always remains my wish list is the runway being lengthened which I hope the current leaseholder will consider in the future. Looking at the topography I am sure the runway can be extended by 300 feet at runway 08 end, and 600 feet at runway 26 end (which might necessitate a new sloping area to be built) but that extra length could attract even more airlines and routes!
