You are getting rather patronising to be honest. Calling the place a dump and saying it would be better if it was built over with housing is trolling. It is an extremely successfull airport that continues to grow year on year. Nobody here said it was a godly palace with out any flaws. If someones "opinion" is nothing more then petty insults of course it will be challenged.
t may be 'buzzing' but it's full to bursting point. The terminal is inadequate, gloomy, there's nowhere to sit, it's a long way to the gate along more gloomy walkways which feel like prefabs tied together. Security is carnage at first wave for pax and for crew.
Why is the assumption that these pax are going to be embracing the tin mall like all the low cost pax? It is more likely they wont be and if they arent how is any of the above or the other insults in any way a problem or detrimental to this French Airlines future operations from the airport.
Bulldoze it and start afresh with something more dignified and purpose built. That's what I'd do anyway.
