I'm with Canberra on this one. Was based at LTN. Worst six months of my life.
It may be 'buzzing' but it's full to bursting point. The terminal is inadequate, gloomy, there's nowhere to sit, it's a long way to the gate along more gloomy walkways which feel like prefabs tied together. Security is carnage at first wave for pax and for crew.
Oh and that's once you actually make it to the terminal. Drive up for first wave and you need to queue in your car 10-15 minutes.
It has no flow nor structure to it. It is not intuitive. It is, and feels like numerous buildings joined together.
Operationally getting away is a nightmare as there's an armada of purple planes landing just as you're ready for departure and if you and the biz jets in front of you require full length then it's a long time until you get going.
