Enjoy la Compagnie while it lasts! SilverJet, MAXJet and EOS didn't last. OpenSkies now has a three cabin service and anything long haul low cost just doesn't work. AirAsia X (Euro ops), Globespan, ZOOM, Oasis HKG. Mixing long haul low cost with a premium only service will not last.
The economy may be on the up but let's not blame the economy only for the airline failures. Shoddy business models which lack sustainability are what brought down many a airline. This la Compagnie will be no different.
I'd rather fly BA premium economy. Cheaper, many departure times, options when things go wrong, and marginally less comfortable than la Compagnie's mid 90s style business class.
