Chinese New Year will be a challenge for Crew controllers. We should send each one a gift, to illustrate that we really are in the same team, even with the lack of goodwill we are putting forth that is making their jobs challenging. A starbucks gift card would be fitting.
It's interesting how they are cutting flights that are profitable, only to put airplanes on slightly more profitable routes. Surely, an extra 15-20% for pilots would be more cost effective than even one cancellation a day. Our costs are miniscule when compared to overall revenue. It's not 1984 anymore!
