They dumped it and didn't tell me because that would contravene their "no backscatter" policy. I disagreed, and told them what I thought of that.
To me, "backscatter" is bouncing e-mails back to obviously forged e-mail addresses, such as the ones I used to get with one of my long-abandoned addresses as the "sender" and a Chinese IP address as the origin.
