I must agree with you whirlybird on this. I may not always agree with www (more often than not I do as it happens) and I am sure he does not always agree with me.

But the pathetic tit for tat nonsense going on in this forum of late is really quite sad. Remember this is a 'professional' pilots forum - sometimes I am deeply embarassed to think I am going into a career where some people are so utterly unprofessional.

But then I think, no don't worry, as these losers are never going to get into mainstream aviation. Certainly I have never met line pilots with the attitude of some of you so called wannabes, so I am sure you will get weeded out. I hope so for the safety of the rest of us.

Team working involves diplomacy, and the ability to accomodate somebodies viewpoints that you may not necessarily share. By all means there is no harm in reasoned debate, but such stupid namecalling is really sad, and for me devalues this forum.

And before anybody flames me out as just another wannabee what the hell does he know (reasonably valid) I happen to work in a team of people where the whole measure of success or failure has far more to do with how we coalesce as a group, rather than what we know.

So yes I am right behind www; keep it up mate. No I will not lick your @rse. If I disagree with you strongly I will offer a reasoned debate with my viewpoint, yet remain flexible enough to be talked out of it should you or anybody else offer further relevant information.

So come on, let's stop this stubborn immature attitude, and get the wannabes forum back to discussing relevant flight training issues that may actually benefit all of us, rather than the daft ego trips from people who have done and are doing nothing to help us.

Edited to appease you G-SXTY! - please let's not allow this thread to veer of course and slip into pedant's corner though.
