Flip Flop has it wrong the maintenance is GA standard and we carry quite a few MEL's on a regular basis,most of the engineers are canadian or local and there is no longer any progression on to the B757 as it no longer exists and the contract is firmly held by Brussels now and operated by a A300 from Iceland.

As for the operating conditions we avreage 80-90hrs per month depending on available pilots and average between 8 hrs and 12hrs duty per day but 15 hrs duty is not uncommon as we operate under FAA regs and as most Metro pilots would now it is as hot as hell with only 1 eyeball outlet per pilot in the cockpit and temps getting high and humidity on the increase it is very very hot.
