I think its all relevant in the grand scheme of ABZ. Without an oil and gas industry all we have is a small regional airfield .... wait a minute
I know that a number of majors are laying off or are making plans to lay off non Ops personnel which is the thin end of the wedge - HR / Admin / Accounts. Its always a good time to cut out the fat. Less money in the pocket less air travel.
There also several Companies now down to "essential travel" only. I had three attendees at a meeting last week in London as opposed to ten because of travel restrictions. Reduced air travel through ABZ.
Drilling programs next year could be slashed as the North Sea is an expensive place to explore - reduced helicopter traffic.
Most Oil shares have dropped 35% and Companies will react (have to be seen to react) to investors to restore investor confidence.
Any cuts are on the way will inevitably lead to loss of jobs and reduced business travel through ABZ.
Very relevant I'd say.
