Easyjet have major plans for long term expansion at Luton, Wizzair go from strength to strength.. a few other airlines do their random little part like. Atlas, Blue & Elal. A few more of those kinds of airlines complimented by swathes of executive jets will be the future. Who knows what Monarch are upto and if it will work out long term but Ryanair and Thomson have neglected LTN for ages. I still dont see who would be a huge loss to LGW. The first 2 I mentioned wont be going anywhere. If FR or Thomson left I dont think they would be very difficult to replace.
