The logical next London base for Cityjet if they flee LCY is Southend. They will have ready new business awaiting for Belfast, Edinburgh, Newquay and Krakow to name but 4 destinations that EZY gave up when carryings for the 319's seemed fairly good but would be even better for the smaller aircraft that Cityjet
operate.
They also use SEN for diversions from LCY therefore aware of the good rail connection to London and fast transits through the terminal, similar to that at LCY.
