Is there a clear need for Easyjet to have their head office at Luton airport, either when the airport wants the space to expand operations (and some lease termination can be agreed commercially), or when the current lease expires ? I'm thinking 5 or 10 years from now, rather than in the short term.
Perhaps it would be feasible to keep a much smaller amount of office space to handle day-to-day operations relating strictly to Luton airport, and move the remaining staff to an office block somewhere else in or near Luton ?
While plenty of small airlines have their head office at an airport site, a sizeable number of major airlines seem to have their head office close to but not *at* one of their major airports.
