Lee Baker Street whilst I don't disagree with what you say, as I'd also love to see IOM and other routes return, the risks allied to a new airline setting up operations at Luton must surely make that highly unlikely?
What would be great is if a regional airline like BMI Regional as an example, saw an opportunity to develop a small network from Luton but I can't really see that happening either, not with them or any other airline.
We can be happy that passenger numbers generally continue to grow & there's no sign of a slowdown.
Whilst I don't see IOM or regional Irish routes returning, I hope that Jersey might prove more tempting to someone, at least seasonally. We will see
