Zante
Great to see Zante added to the route map by Monarch, but took me by surprise when they are showing no signs of Antalya, Bodrum or Corfu being reinstated as operated this year...
I am wondering if we will see future growth for next summer by easyJet focussing on Eastern Mediteranean? Maybe two flights a week to Antalya, Bodrum (picking up these Monarch routes and are flown from STN and LGW by the airline), and some of the Greek islands like Rhodes and Kos which are quite a hole in the major tourist destination route map.
The above routes if flown twice weekly would easily be operated by just one of the three new aircraft that are supposed to be based at the airport from next year and still have spare capacity.
