Seems ABZ 'missed out' in favour of EDI to be the Scottish terminal for Atlantic A/W & their new route from Vagar in S15 with their A319.
Seems the Faroese carrier are developing a strategy of linking with their nearest neighbours.
ABZ & LSI have been served before by Atlantic, at a time when there was thought to be significant hydrocarbons in Faroese waters. EDI was rightly chosen this time on account of its excellent onward connections & larger catchment area that exists in the central belt - something that no amount of expensive housing & bypass up here will be able to overcome.
