When I was a kid, we had 8- half-crowns to the pound....they were called, in slang, "half a Dollar"...So, the Dollar was 4 to the pound.....now, it's considerably less than 2.
I think that what Robbo's weasel-wording infers, is the overhauled heli will sell for the same number of dollars as it did when new.......but inflation will have made a new one probably ~20% dearer.
A bit like arguing that an ancient,overhauled Cessna will fetch more dollars than it cost new.....but it's still a tarted-up old dog that is less than half the price (and value) of a brand-spanking new-un.
