RE Westjet flights. My understanding is they have done pretty well with their direct flights to Dublin.
I can't see how direct Halifax from Aberdeen would be of much use unless it arrives at a time that there are decent connections to YUL and YYZ or elsewhere. Point to point dosen't really make sense business wise (maybe tourist wise). The oil industry part of Canada is not really located in Nova Scotia.
Oh well...anything to make Aberdeen feel like an international airport I guess.
