Emirates could perhaps be persuaded to add an ABZ leg onto their existing NCL flights (assuming the facilities were suitably upgraded of course).

They would have seen a loss of a lot of passengers departing from ABZ after the loss of the BMI flights to Heathrow and Manchester.

Nowadays, the best opportunity to get into ABZ from Dubai, flying with Emirates is connecting with BA in Heathrow, but these flights are often double the cost of flying with BA on both legs.

Not sure if they would get the passenger loads on a daily basis to make it worthwhile, but I would imagine that there would be an opportunity to make some money on the cargo side of things which would be fairly limited from NCL.
