Looking at Aberdeen growth especially this year where it is 8% which no airport is doing is really good, although this could easily be increased especially with rumoured airlines wanting to operate out of Aberdeen to places like Eastern Europe but the problem has been no international stands. Facts at abz are lack of stands and terminal is far too small even to cope with current pax.
I agree wide body services are unlikely till the runway is extended a further 500-600m, and apron is expanded to accommodate such aircraft but until airport is sold nothing is getting built and no money is getting spent, real shame as Aberdeen is desperate for investment and lots of it
