The 9M38M1 missile is used by
both Buk-M1 and Buk M1-2. The Buk M1-2 TELARs in Russia are in fact equiped with two types of missiles - older 9M38M1 and newer 9М317 (with shorter wing chord), evidenced with multiple photos and videos.
