Chevron
Point of note (well to me anyway!) was that 3x Chevron G550s arrived at Dyce yesterday, departing back across the pond today.
The annual Oil Baron's ball was held yesterday, so it might have been that. But don't recall bizjets speeding across the Atlantic for this before.
Chevron announced 200+ job cuts recently, so it might have been to do with that, or more bad news (N.Sea exit?) - just have to wait & see. Or (to be hopeful) to do with their Rosebank development which was shelved. Maybe they've found a way to develop it. But we do have falling oil prices with no end in sight, which won't help the high cost N.Sea.
Puts me in mind of when a number of Gulf 2/3s arrived c1984 with Marathon execs following commissioning of the Brae complex. Which, back then, was good news!
