Two of the three B752 flyglobespan (sub-)leased from Icelandair in the summer of 2007 still fly for Icelandair. The third didn't return to Icelandair after flyglobespan, but went to Mint Airways (did a number of flights for TCX in the summer of 2011). After Mint went bust this aircraft was converted to a freighter and is now one of five B752F in the Blue Dart Aviation (India) fleet.
To me it seems more like the flyglobespan operation was knackered. Three of their aircraft I know more about - the two B736 that went back to SAS and B738 G-CDEG that made a short stint at Norwegian. Norwegian could not get rid of LN-KHD fast enough as she was a hangar queen and the two B736 were not pretty after flyglobespan had used them and a lot of work had to be done to get them up to scratch again.
