When FlyGlobespan had an aircraft based in Aberdeen some years ago for Euro Holiday destinations, didn't they do quite well out of it?
You are correct of course that when Flyglobespan operated from ABZ they done well but GSM were a Scottish focused airline and today we really dont have much of that going on at all. The fact of the matter is today most of the airlines in the UK market are European focused and when they buy an expensive object like a an aircraft they need to get as much money back as possible. ABZ, like GLA and EDI can be on their radars but getting EZY and FR for example into your airports is a battle royal which dozens of other eurocity airports and I would suggest for the ABZ management team that must be frustrating.
