We are talking about Halifax, Nova Scotia ie New Scotland - there are cultural, historical links that might justify a route to Scotland.
A route to London so that Halifaxers can go and point at Big Ben.
Other than that MAN to Halifax??? I'd be highly skeptical about the viability of that. Not a place I would ever consider visiting
