I'm left to wonder after what ba said about the London City route whether the cost of taxes and charges have anything to do with all these routes being lost. Aberdeen is nearly twice as expensive as the central belt airports for landing fees and add to that the stupid apd tax and airlines profit margins must be really small,
I thought riga was a great route, always seemed to be close to full so hopefully it does come back for next summer but potentially something for airport management to think about given the fact they charge all this money and nothing is invested back into airport infrastructure......
New owner with new management could well be a good change, I'm sure it can't be worse than the current mob
