UK's number 5 airport
I have been so interested in that of all those who regularly comment in this forum regarding Luton Airport very few have responded to the fact that the airport has to date achieved it's highest recorded figure ever- in relation to passenger levels.
Whilst MAG claim to have Londons's 'fasting growing airport in August' the fact remains every other London Airport has achieved record figures where as STN remains approximately 4 million plus passengers short of it's best year ever achieved!
Whilst figures can be manipulated facts can not!
I sincerely hope that Thomson Airways stops its decline at its head office town airport and throughout the rest of the UK and that Monarch stimulates further growth which it rightly deserves.
Easyjet has claimed it will grow by a fifth in 2015 so lets hope that pledge comes into fruition.
From my point of view Luton could become the 'LaGaurdia' serving the London area?
