"For all their faults the SNP have always voluntarily abstained from voting in Westminster on matters which will not affect Scotland. A shame that the major parties could have not allowed, or even better insisted that, their members representing Scottish constituencies do likewise. Hopefully this matter will soon be resolved in the interests of fairness."
In the defense of the other Scottish MPs voting on purely English matters, they do it not through choice but ordered to by party whips because it suits their party agenda.
