Which EASA state is most 'user friendly'?
I have a UK issued JAA ATPL but am seriously considering getting my EASA ATPL issued in a different European state.
I know that some European authorities will issue a type rating in your EASA licence based on your Gulf credentials, which the UK don't. I know the Italians have done or still do this and would be grateful if anyone could share their past experiences with any other national authorities, who have done the same thing.
