I have heard that rumour as well but what you have relayed is similar to what I was told but it was second hand and I have no idea where it originated from.

The last time I checked, flybe had three 195's scheduled for this winter, which matched their press release a few months back although at the time it did not mention which bases or services they would be used on.
However per the booking engine, the one is BHX based for Paris CDG three times a day and the other two seem to be based at Southampton and they are down for Amsterdam four daily and Manchester for at least two of frequencies with the evening Dublin showing as the 195, as well the sun routes you have mentioned fitted in between.
The BHX 195 is fairly leisurely but the Southampton pair seem quite busy.
As for the 175's they seem to be 7 x BHX and 4 x MAN this winter.
