Just a footnote to Dusty_B's comment. In the past some examiners didn't include a nav component and some did; recently EASA has mandated that the test should always include a nav component. It is nothing too onerous; locally, the stude is expected to simply plog and fly to a given destination - usually the test area.
Typical conversion times are in the 2 to 5 hours region, depending on experience and recency - power pilots with glider experience would be nearer the lower figure.
