Having flown out of Kinloss (ghost town), Lossie (no room in the mess) and Leuchars (ghost town to be) in the last few weeks - my dream ("I have a dream..") would be:
Casa 295 with MPA pallets at Kinloss
Gripens at Lossie
Tutor/Tucano/King Air at Leuchars (EFT & AFT)
Rotary - dunno - central belt somewhere. Specialist training contracted out
Nothing like the capability but a lot cheaper. And we couldnt get dragged into a few foreign adventures by the septics because the kit is all short range and limited capability!
Oh and before anyone asks, I'm English and off to the Royal Lincolnshire Airforce for the next tour - bye bye scenery.....
