Hempy. I presume you are referring to the sell off of the airports and the formation of the CAA.

Both by the Labor Government following what was happening around the world.

By " certain individuals" I am not sure who you are referring to. Perhaps Henry Bosch ?

I was involved in staff reductions from about 7000 to 3500 and in reforms such as the first of type acceptance - all on the premise that the money spent on aviation safety had to be affordable otherwise the market ceases to exist - and that's clearly happening.

However I feel sure you are referring to me because Henry Bosch had no interest or involvement since he was no longer involved in aviation.

What would you have done if you were in my position of influence and how would have that improved the situation today? And why didn't you do it?
