Ryanair have dropped all their Canary Island routes from Luton, with the exception of Lanzarote that remains twice weekly...
Would be good to see Monarch or easyJet step in and pick up the Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura routes.
Monarch will be flying 3x weekly to Lanzarote, as well as 4x weekly to Tenerife this winter.
I am guessing the schedule for Ryanair this winter is being reduced at Luton, as not seen any increases on existing routes and nothing new is showing. Even though they only base four aircraft at the airport, Luton has done pretty well and hasn't seen its winter schedule reduced in previous years like other UK bases until now.
To be fair the Canary Island routes have been cut back from most UK bases Ryanair have, this winter too.
