That's old hat

Ag komaan guys,

this has been going on for close on 10 years. With the integration of the first NSF members, some guys pitched up for flying sloshed, some physiacally abused their instructors on a racial ground, etc, etc, etc. No white instructor can dare to ask for a wash test for fear of being labelled a racist.

Looking at the high tech equipment these guys are supposed to be flying in the coming years, I would not buy a house too close to final approach or extended centerline of any military base located in a built-up area.

Its time for this governement and all its hallowed institutions to bury the old "blame it on apartheid" and accept that for certain positions only the best is acceptable. IMHO flying a ZAR40M piece of military equipment (not even mentioning assisting with the flying of a ZAR250M piece of equipment filled to the brim with SLF) is one of such positions.

Well, I suppose that has put the NIS onto my case.

I could just as well have said; "Hoog wapper die vierkleur."

All you guys out there, Fly Safe.
