All these announcements will lower the rates of individual flying ('divisor' in QF-speak) on each remaining fleet such that, especially in the future A330 F/O pool:
- there will be room to force 'surplus' leave to be assigned to pilots,
- annual pay won't drop much but average stick hours will, and therefore
- QF can continue to select appropriate statistics to tell the world how little QF pilots fly for the pay they receive.
A perfect kill-two-birds-with-one-stone solution!
