Dash 8's

Just to give an example, Dash 8 aircraft DP last commercial flight in winter was 19/01/2014 and it reappeared on 8 July and it has been given the purple treatment.
It has just operated Manchester - Aberdeen although it was BHX based to start with but has since moved on.
Going back to the BHX-FLR and delay issues, although a few cancellations this week flybe seem to have worked hard with the BHX schedule whatever that has been thrown at them including a two-day tech issue on the Cello RJ85 they were using and a lightening strike on Monday on a 175 just out of BHX for Milan - aircraft has not flown since.
They were even using the other 46 seat Cello aircraft at one point.
