The immigrations laws in the unites state are totally different, there is very unusual that a company sponsors you but that's the way it is..
In Europe, not only Spain was a quite easy to be sponsored, but now let me tell you that almost of the companies are looking also for legal resident.
It was before when it was a shortage of pilots when the companies did that. It happened also in north sea, not only in Spain but for now. They prefer to hire legal residents unless a special needs like happen with Russian kamov ka-32 engineers in Inaer...
