But just to clarify...
BA only treat LHR-TLV as a long haul route, due to the business it brings in and has a high demand for premium traffic, so they use their long haul business and first class product on the route. It is exactly the same for the Moscow route they operate, as this generates huge amounts of premium traffic!
It is nothing to do with these being long haul routes!
BA fly to Larnaca and this is a similar flight time as Tel-Aviv, but about hour longer than Moscow, but uses the same product as their other European routes, purely down to is being a more competitive market where there is greater demand for Economy traffic and few premium seats is required.
