A straw poll over the past week seems to indicate that as long as there is a job to go back to (or a temporary option overseas or in the contract world) the majority of QF MOU guys will NOT be resigning from QF to stay at JQ.

Still, most of it is talk at the moment...proof will be in the signature (or not) on the dotted line.

Heard another rumour this week regarding the 787-9 options; That they are far TOO cheap to pass up...around $60M instead of the currently $200M per airframe. Rumour has it that some would go to QF and some to JQ with additional JQ destinations to include SFO and LAS.

Apparently work is in progress on a cunning plan to have the QF airframes flown on JQ pay rates. Not sure how that could be achieved???
