Great that you appreciate the fact that the LBA is reasonable, I would love to think that as well. But unfortunately, the statement is as bad as it could be and totally false regarding EU-OPS !
And well, having said that, not sure if you know.... Flight Duty Limitations in GA in Germany is pretty much: 24/7/365 ! If you had one and a half days off by pure chance -> Voila, thats been your 36h !
