Alderney, admittedly with the help of it's Norman brethren, conquered the British Isles in 1066. There have been a few changes since then, admittedly, but the Islands remain a benign and friendly overseer of their hard won territory to the North. The Duke of Normandy remains a much loved Head of State from her palace in London and they all lived happily ever after
