You would have to pay me to travel with that seating density. 180 in an A320 for a couple of hours is just about doable, pay extra for an exit or front row seat and three or four hours is tolerable.
Eight hours of being crammed in like sardines would be a nightmare for an average sized Aussie, never mind some of the XXXL shirt buyers. That seating configuration is meant for Philippine workers traveling to and from the Middle East who weigh 60kgs, are very price sensitive and don't mind being packed in.
I'm sure the backpackers won't mind if it's cheap but unless they offer some form of premium class I doubt there'd be many repeat customers.
