The iconic Qantas pilots are the true 50% men, work 50% of the hours for 50% more pay.

The iconic A380 Pilots at QF were "averaging" $415K for Capts three years back.

The iconic ones on the A380 have also only been averaging just over 400 hours a year since the introduction of type 50% of the flight hours of their US counterparts.

The wage bill for the iconic Long Haul pilots at Qantas could easily be trimmed by $200million a year and they would still be paid more than any of the US passenger airlines.
