No shortage of suitable applicants.
I have met Qantas Captains that finished high school in grade 10.
Now you have young people with 2 degrees, ATPL that cannot get a job flying and would jump at the chance to work at Qantas.
I am not saying it's right but the times are changing and the world is getting more competitive and pilots are not highly regarded as they once where.
But your a fool to think that Qantas will ever be short of suitable applicants.
