How about start by stopping absurd discrimination, really integrating foreigners ( with a ban on the word "yabanci" starting to call FO with their name and offer some sort of benefits for pilots with and without families. So much could be done. On the other end..how to justify the tricks with seniority, the intake of turbo prop captains with no jet time ( and no degree
) that will jump seniority and bypass a lot of very experienced FO with thousand of hours on type and be trained and upgraded in THY. I fail to see any wisdom in it and, along with other questionable practices, a potential source of future problems. Sometimes looks like THY is willing to lose pilots and not to get the quality one they badly need and that are mostly heading more to the East...
